Katlynn began skating at the age of 6, where she started in the USFS Learn To Skate program at Polar Ice-Peoria. When Katlynn began skating, no-one would have ever guessed that 4 years later she would be working on her Double Axel and her Triple jumps. It has been an unbelievable four years with many successes and a few disappointments along the way. After 4 1/2 years Katlynn has switched Skating Rinks and now is proud to be part of the Alltel Ice Skating Facility in Scottsdale, Arizona.

In 2004 Katlynn Won the USFS FUTURE CHAMPIONS series for the Pacific Coast region in the Girls Juvenile level.

In October 2005, Katlynn placed 1st in the Southwest Pacific Regionals, qualifying her onto the Junior National Championships in Westminister, Colorado for Juvenile Girls.
